5½ – and on a mission…

Evie Westacott - 5 ½ and on a missionEvie Westacott is 5 ½ and on a mission to tell people all about jaguars!

Evie Westacott is only 5 and a half years old, but she is on a mission…

A mission to teach her friends and family all about the issues facing Jaguars in the Amazon Rainforest after adopting one as part of the Sky Rainforest Rescue campaign! Her Mum explained exactly how she went about it:

“At her school each child takes a turn in being the VIP – whereby they go in and talk about whatever subject matter they wish, this week it happens to be Evie and she is taking in all her bits and is going to talk about the Amazon rainforest and the plight of endangered animals, focusing (of course!) on the Jaguars! We are therefore brushing up on our facts from the booklet!”

It’s absolutely fantastic that Evie is taking great steps to talk to people on an issue she feels so passionate about. It’s so important our supporters spread the word about what we do – especially at such a young age! – as they are the ones who will be changing the world for the better in years to come.

So thank you Evie for your brilliant support and for being a little WWF Campaigner!
